Look in water bill envelope
 for spring Earth Day activities

Broomfield residents are reminded to look in their monthly water bills in February for the annual Earth Day Events calendar for Spring of 2006.  The Environmental Services Division of the Broomfield Public Works Department coordinates the activities, and the calendar offers a brief synopsis of the events, and contact information for each. 

Activities start in March and run into July.  There are recycling and cleanup events, xeriscape classes and workshops, a special Earth Day program for kids, the annual tree plantings for Arbor Day, the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day info, and more. 

All the programs are available to Broomfield residents only, and are offered free of charge unless otherwise noted.
