co-sponsor free seminar for job seekers
On Wednesday, March 29,
from 6 to 8 p.m., the Broomfield Workforce Center and Sun Microsystems will
co-sponsor a free seminar entitled New Strategies for a New
Job Market at the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library, 3
Community Park Road, Broomfield.
Guest Speaker will be
Donald Strankowski, author of “Get Hired! 10 Simple Steps for Winning the Job
You Desire – in Any Economy.”
Strankowski will offer
five new strategies designed to increase a job-seeker’s chances for
getting hired in today’s highly competitive job market.
He will discuss
the most effective job search strategy in any
type of economy, and how job seekers can distinguish themselves from the job
search masses by
employing tools not used
by the majority of other job seekers, including a v-letter, brag book, and job
business plan.
Strankowski will also
give tips on how job seekers can present themselves as experts at what they do
and how to then advertise that product to potential employers.

register, contact the Broomfield Workforce Center at 303.464.5894.
