Construction work on
Wadsworth,
120th connection entails night delays
Beginning Monday, Aug. 21, night work will close lanes
for those traveling on Wadsworth/Colorado 121 between
the U.S. 36 bridge and Jeffco Airport Avenue.
From 7 p.m. on August 21 to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug.
22, and from 7 p.m. August 22 to 5:30 a.m. Wednesday,
Aug 23, the right lane on the eastbound U.S. 36 off
ramp to Wadsworth/Colorado 121 will be closed for
pipe work. During the same time periods, various
lanes will be closed on north and southbound
Wadsworth/Colorado 121 for additional pipe and signal
work. Expect delays.
Daytime work in the area Monday through Friday, Aug
21-25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. will entail closure
of the left lanes on north and southbound
Wadsworth/Colorado 121 for work in the medians.
Alternate routes are advised.
Other conezone areas:
Expect delays in the Anthem area – Lowell/Tennyson on
the west, Colorado 7 on the north, Huron on the east
and 152 Avenue or the
Northwest Parkway
on the south. Construction continues. Detours,
flagger controlled work areas and minor delays can be
expected.
Utility installation is under way on Lowell Boulevard
from W. 144 Avenue to W. 160 Avenue. Detours, flagger
controlled work areas and minor delays lasting not
more than five minutes can be expected.
Also on Lowell, from W. 144 Avenue to W. 136 Avenue,
utility construction continues. Detours, flagger
controlled work areas and minor delays lasting not
more than five minutes can be expected. Lanes will be
opened at the end of each day’s activity. The area
being paved will not reopen until paving is complete.
Tennyson Street
from W. 160 Avenue to Colorado 7 will be closed to all
public access.
Area site work continues on West 160 Avenue from Huron
to Lowell. Flaggers controlling traffic and minor
delays lasting not more than five minutes can be
expected.
Lowell Boulevard
from Colorado 7 south to W. 160 Avenue is open to the
public with no lane restrictions. Motorists are urged
to use caution while traveling through the Anthem
area. High construction activities continue, and
construction traffic will be entering onto and exiting
from Lowell.
Sheridan Boulevard
is open from Colorado 7 south to W. 144 Avenue. Access
to the tollbooths and to the Northwest parkway are
open. Motorists are urged to use caution while
traveling through the Anthem area. High construction
activities continue, and construction traffic will be
entering onto and exiting from
Sheridan.
In west Broomfield, the Parkway Circle development is
open to the public. Via Varra and Midway are open to
the site. Area site work continues. Carbon Road and
Brainard Drive remain closed to through traffic.
