HHS sets public hearing
for rent assistance grant   

Broomfield’s Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is planning to submit an application to the Colorado Division of Housing to request continued funding for the Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program.   

As part of the application process, HHS must hold a public hearing to garner public support for the proposed application.  Anyone interested in this rental assistance program is invited to attend a public hearing on Thursday, Oct. 5,  from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Health and Human Services building, 6 Garden Center, Broomfield.  

If approved, the continued funding to Broomfield for the TBRA program will benefit persons with low and moderate incomes.   

For those unable to attend the hearing, written comments may be mailed to Jan Hamilton, Broomfield HHS, 6 Garden Center, Broomfield, CO 80020, or emailed to jhamilton@broomfield.org . Written comments should be received by the October 5 hearing, and will be forwarded to the Division of Housing for consideration as part of the application process.
