Broomfield Clerk and Recorder
Russ Ragsdale has announced that the Election
Division will be conducting the Public Logic and
Accuracy test, as required by Colorado law, on
Saturday, Oct. 14 beginning at 9 a.m. Testing will
occur in the Bal Swan conference room in the
basement of the Broomfield City and County Building,
1 DesCombes Dr. The public is invited to observe.
This test is necessary to
verify the accuracy of the ballot counting software
to be used in the November 7 General Election. The
chairpersons from both the Broomfield Democrat and
Republican parties and the Broomfield Clerk and
Recorder will conduct the test.
All three will “vote” multiple
ballots, hand tabulate the test ballots, and compare
the results with the results from the voting
machines. Both the optical scan ballot readers and
the electronic voting devices will be tested.
