Time to nominate
teens for annual youth award
Nominations for the 2007
Metropolitan Mayors and Commissioners Youth Awards
are currently being accepted by the Health and Human
Services (HHS) Department. Deadline is Wednesday,
Jan. 10, 2007.
The awards recognize teenagers
who have overcome personal adversity through service
to self, family, school and/or their community.
This program recognizes youth as valued and
contributing members of the community.
Anyone who knows a young person
who meets the criteria is encouraged to nominate
them.
Business, community and civic
leaders have received invitations to nominate a
young person, giving them an opportunity to
demonstrate support for the young people living in
Broomfield and focus on young people who can serve
as positive role models.

at 720-887-2201.
Broomfield participates with Adams, Arapahoe,
Boulder, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Gilpin and
Jefferson Counties in the Metropolitan Mayors and
Commissioners Youth Award (MMCYA).
