Broomfield Storm Closings 

Broomfield’s Paul Derda Recreation Center and the Broomfield Community Center will both close at 5 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 28.  The centers will re-open tomorrow at 9 a.m., weather permitting.

The Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library will also close at 5 p.m. today and re-open tomorrow at 9 a.m., weather permitting.

Additional closures will be announced as they are determined.

The Police Department and the Public Works Department will remain in operation with essential personnel.

Residents are urged to call before attempting to visit any city and county building tomorrow.   

Updated information about city closings will be posted on the Broomfield Web site, www.broomfield.org, and on Broomfield’s cable Channel 8 (for Comcast subscribers).
