Broomfield Citizens’ Academy
Anyone wondering what
Broomfield government is all about will get those questions answered up
close and personal at the 2007 Citizens’ Academy set to begin Thursday,
Feb. 1. The classes continue every Thursday evening for six weeks
through March 8.
Find out the “how,
why, what and who” about Broomfield’s unique form of local government.
Speakers talk about the duties of each of the departments, the widely
acclaimed story of Broomfield’s water supply, and the duties of the
mayor and city council under our council-manager form of government.
At the end of the
last session, certificates of completion will be awarded to those who
attend all six classes during the closing reception.

and County Building, 1 DesCombes Dr. Cost is $15 for materials.
