There is a
limited supply of flu vaccine left at HHS and it’s not too late to get a
flu shot!
Free flu shots
will be available to residents by appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Fridays throughout January at the HHS
building, 6 Garden Center in Broomfield. Some evening appointments may
also be available.
Colorado records
show that flu season peaked during February the past two years, with
another increase in March. Influenza remains one of the leading causes
of hospitalization during this time of the year.
Since last fall
Broomfield’s Public Health Nurses have vaccinated over 2000 residents
against the flu virus.
