Contractor seminar set for Feb. 15

Broomfield’s Revenue Division and Building Division are teaming up to present a free seminar on use taxes on Thursday, Feb. 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the City and County Building, 1 DesCombes Drive.

Class will include the building permit process, calculation of use tax deposits, how to exempt Broomfield use taxes when purchasing materials, how to report costs on completed projects, documentation needed for audits, information on “exempt” construction projects, and personal property tax declarations.
