Broomfield
sets special Earth Day activity for kids
Broomfield
youngsters are invited to celebrate Earth Day Saturday, April
21,from 2 to
3:30 p.m.
at the
Broomfield Community Center, 280 Lamar St., in the Lakeshore Room.
For the first 50 kids, ages
six to 12,
there will be trees to plant, storm water to learn about and crafts
to make.
Broomfield’s
Environmental Services Division and
CSU
Cooperative Extension are sponsoring the activities geared toward
kids and celebrating Earth Day 2007.
Parents can drop off children for a fun afternoon of earth-friendly
activities for children.
The program is limited to 50 participants. Pre-registration is
available by calling 720.887.2286. Walk-in registrations will be
taken at the door on a first-come, first-served basis as space is
available.
