Volunteers needed to connect art projects  

Help! June 2 is the date for the dedication of art benches around Community Pond, but the project isn’t really finished yet!   

The 9-11 Memorial was completed last year with a flagstone walkway. In an attempt to link the art benches with the 9-11 Memorial and balance the art features, the artist requested and received approval to add a flagstone skirt around each bench and a sparse flagstone path leading from each bench to the nearest sidewalk.  The idea is to connect all the pieces of art together. 

So, volunteers are needed to work together and take on this project. They will help place the flagstone paths to unite the art benches with the 9-11 memorial area. These flagstone paths will be sparse and will connect to the nearest sidewalk.  This is a perfect volunteer project for individuals, an adult-supervised youth group, or service clubs.
