Grant applications for 2008 funding
due by end of August 

Grant applications requesting 2008 funding for health and human services-related projects are due by the close of business on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007.   Monies are available to non-profit organizations for projects that directly serve and benefit Broomfield residents.  

This program is administered by the Broomfield Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). 

Grant applications can be obtained from the Community Assistance Center in the City and County Building, 1 DesCombes Dr.; at the HHS building, 6 Garden Center; the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library, 3 Community Park Rd.; the Broomfield Community Center, 280 Lamar St., or by calling 720-887-2279.  A downloadable copy can also be found on the city’s Web site:  www.broomfield.org. 

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, at the HHS building, 6 Garden Center, Broomfield.  Funding decisions will be announced by November and funds will be awarded via contracts effective January 1, 2008.  For more information call Ralph Longobardi at 720.887.2250.
