Register soon for HHS free parenting class 

Broomfield Health and Human Services (HHS) will again offer a 16-week Nurturing Parenting program in collaboration with the Mental Health Center serving Boulder and Broomfield counties. The evening classes begin Wednesday, Jan. 30.  Applications to participate in the program must be submitted by Jan. 30. The classes are limited to 20 families. 

The Nurturing Parenting program is designed to help parents be empathetic, nurturing caretakers, and the classes emphasize the value of unconditional love within a family.  Participants will learn about the developmental processes of a child, the importance of offering children choices and showing them that they are loved and respected.   

Class atmosphere will be light, fun and educational.  Dinner will be served to all participants and their children.
