Garden Fair set for Feb. 9 

Broomfield’s Master Gardeners are presenting their fifth annual Garden Fair on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.  in the lobby of the Broomfield Auditorium, 3 Community Park Road.  

This year’s fair will feature gardening information and displays, along with free informational brochures on many gardening topics.  Master Gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions.   

Admission is free and several door prizes will be given away throughout the event. 

Workforce Center plans job fair 

The Broomfield Workforce Center is planning its 2008 Youth Career and Job Fair for Thursday, Feb. 21, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Paul Derda Recreation Center, 13201 Lowell Blvd.   

Youth ages 15 to 21 are invited to bring resumes, “dress for success,” and plan to interview. Over 40 businesses will be represented at the fair, making it a great opportunity to get information about a wide variety of career opportunities or obtain a part-time or full-time job.
