Dance outdoors through summer
with 2008 Concert Series

Wednesdays are big this summer with Broomfield’s annual Summer Concert Series from June 25 through July 30 at the Amphitheater in Community Park.  The concerts are free and family friendly.  Inclement weather moves performances into the Broomfield Auditorium. Concerts begin at 7 p.m.

Beginning on June 25, The Fables bring tunes in tribute to John Lennon and Paul McCartney.  Step back in time and dance to favorites from All My Lovin’ to Starting Over.

On July 2, see Tina Marx and the Millionaires, one of Colorado’s most well-known variety dance bands.  Enjoy a full range of styles of music, especially Big Band Swing.

On July 9, Mojomama brings hip-shakin’ groove music in a fusion of family-friendly sounds.  The show features Blues, Funk, 60s Soul and contemporary Rock with a mix of original and cover songs.

July 16 debuts the Lost Canyon Band.  Hearken back to  the classic era of Rock and Roll when peace, love and music festivals entertained an entire generation.

July 23 brings Deja Blu, a danceable mix of the best of Rock, Soul, Blues, Motown and Swing, with a touch of Country.

On July 30, plan for top quality, fun, island-friendly music from Calypso to Jimmy Buffet, and from Latin sounds to the Beach Boys.

The Broomfield Amphitheater is located in Community Park, north of the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library, 3 Community Park Road.  Community Park is east of Main Street and 2nd Avenue.
