Dance outdoors through summer
with 2008 Concert Series
Wednesdays are big this summer with
Broomfield’s
annual Summer Concert Series from June 25
through July 30 at the Amphitheater in
Community
Park.
The concerts are free and family
friendly.
Inclement weather moves performances
into the Broomfield Auditorium. Concerts
begin at
7 p.m.
Beginning on June 25, The Fables bring tunes
in tribute to John Lennon and Paul
McCartney.
Step back in time and dance to
favorites from
All
My Lovin’ to
Starting Over.
On July 2, see Tina Marx and the
Millionaires, one of
Colorado’s
most well-known variety dance bands.
Enjoy a full range of styles of
music, especially Big Band Swing.
On July 9, Mojomama brings hip-shakin’
groove music in a fusion of family-friendly
sounds.
The show features Blues, Funk, 60s
Soul and contemporary Rock with a mix of
original and cover songs.
July 16 debuts the Lost Canyon Band.
Hearken back to
the classic era of Rock and Roll when
peace, love and music festivals entertained
an entire generation.
July 23 brings Deja Blu, a danceable mix of
the best of Rock, Soul, Blues, Motown and
Swing, with a touch of Country.
On July 30, plan for top quality, fun,
island-friendly music from Calypso to Jimmy
Buffet, and from Latin sounds to the Beach
Boys.

Park,
north of the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public
Library,
