Use tax seminar for contractors includes city, state presentations

Broomfield’s Revenue Division and the Building Division are hosting a seminar on city and state sales and use taxes.  The seminar is free and will include the city’s building permit process, calculation of use tax deposits, how to exempt City and County use taxes when purchasing materials, reporting costs on completed projects, documentation needed for audits, registration of exempt construction projects, and personal property tax declarations.

The date for the seminar is Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
