On Monday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. East County Arts Alive, a non-profit arts advocacy group, will present the results of a $50,000 consulting study to determine the feasibility of a regional cooperative performing arts center in the Broomfield, Louisville, Lafayette area.

The findings will be presented in the Broomfield Auditorium at 3 Community Park Rd.

The study was funded by the City of Lafayette, City of Louisville, City and County of Broomfield, University of Colorado and various local business groups and chambers of commerce.

The lead contractor was Carter-Burgess in association with theater consultant Webb Management Services out of New York, Colorado-based real estate strategist Leland Consulting Group and project management Aspen International led by Steve Woods of Broomfield.

The focus of the study was to determine the market configuration of a regional center and a mixed-use commercial development to support the arts. More information including the original RFP can be found at www.eastcountyartsalive.org.
