Watch water bills for cable survey

Broomfield residents are asked to complete and return a survey they will find in their water bills during May. Residents’ responses are needed to document the public’s concerns regarding cable television service in the city.

The survey is one page long, and may be completed by both cable television subscribers and non-subscribers. Questions seek information concerning reception, billing, customer service experiences, high speed Internet interest and give an opportunity to provide an overall rating.

Broomfield is currently in negotiations for a possible new cable franchise with the cable TV provider, AT&T Broadband. The current franchise agreement expires in June of 2003.

Responses to the survey will ensure that residents’ wishes are considered in the negotiations process. The completed surveys should be delivered or sent to Assistant City and County Manager Tonya Haas at the Broomfield Municipal Center, 1 DesCombes Dr., Broomfield, 80020.
