Broomfield’s first property tax payments due

The first half of property taxes due to the City and County of Broomfield must be paid by Thursday, Feb. 28. Property tax bills were mailed in January. Property owners who have not received a tax notice should contact the Broomfield Central Records Office immediately. Non-receipt of a notice does not forgive the requirement to make payments on time, noted Roxy Huber, Broomfield’s revenue manager.

Taxpayers planning to pay their taxes in halves must bring the payment to the Central Records Office, on the second floor of the Broomfield Municipal Center, One DesCombes Dr., by Feb. 28. For those who are mailing their payments, it must be postmarked on or before Feb. 28.

Many property owners expect their property taxes to be paid by mortgage companies out of escrow accounts. After March 1, to see if their tax payment has been posted, taxpayers can check the City and County of Broomfield Web site: https://info.ci.broomfield.co.us/Tax/.

For further assistance or information, contact the Central Records Office at (303) 464-5819.
