HHS hosts event

to show need for foster parents

The Family and Children’s Services Division of Broomfield Health and Human Services will host a community meeting and panel discussion to provide information about the need for foster parents in Broomfield, specifically, the need for foster homes to care for adolescents.

The panel will consist of foster parents from the Jefferson County Department of Social Services and a young adult who recently emancipated from the foster care system. There will be time for questions and an open discussion.

The meeting will be June 13 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the Broadlands Conference Room at #6 Garden Center in Broomfield. Dessert and refreshments will be served.
