
News Release Release Date: July 12, 2001 City seeks input for proposed recreation center Broomfield is seeking help from the community for the proposed
recreation center, currently under design. A meeting has been scheduled to
gather the public’s input on programming issues including a gymnasium,
climbing wall, running track, leisure pool, aerobics and cardiovascular
rooms, weight rooms and other possible amenities in the building. Date: Wednesday, July 18, 2001 Time: 6:30 p.m. Place: Lakeshore Room in the Broomfield Senior Center Research on amenities possible for a new recreation center in
Broomfield has been ongoing for the last three years. Users of the
recreation center and interested Broomfield residents are encouraged to
