Councilmembers Tom Brunner and Kathy Brown will walk through Ward 1 to meet with constituents on Saturday, May 18. Their trail trek will begin at 9:00 a.m. in Emerald Park near Main St., and wind through Ward 1, ending in Highland Park.

Ward 1 residents are invited to come and visit with the councilmembers at each stop, and walk with them if they like.

"We wanted to do something fun and a little different," Brown said. Brunner and Brown will have water available for walkers who join them.

The five stops planned are Emerald Park at 9:00 a.m., Country Vistas Park at 10 a.m., then on to Mountain View Elementary at 10:45 a.m. Willow Park at 11:30 a.m. and Highland Park at 12:30 p.m. All times are approximate, and in case of rain, the meeting will take place in the lobby of the Broomfield Municipal Center, 1 DesCombes Drive.
