Survivors help other survivors on the streets of New York City
following the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001
The Broomfield 9/11 Memorial was dedicated
in 2006, the fifth
anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the east coast. It is
located in Broomfield, Colo., in Community Park. The sculpture
by Reynaldo "Sonny" Rivera, includes all of the names of those
who died in the tragedy that day.
The Broomfield 9/11 Memorial has three sculptures showing
assistance given by civilians, firefighters and police. There
are also large stone pieces that on one side contain bas reliefs
and on the reverse side are the names of those who lost their
lives.

The Broomfield 9/11 Memorial

reliefs of the three areas where the terrorists' planes came
down in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania. On the reverse side
are the names of those who lost their lives at each scene.
