The Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum hold their sixth Veterans Day observance at the Broomfield High School auditorium November 11. Here the 13 folds of the flag are explained.

Colorado's 101st Army Band plays as members of the veterans museum look on from the stage.

More than 400 people attended the two hour event. 

Broomfield veterans Joe Weibel and Bob Davenport introduce the keynote speaker, Bob Beauprez. 

FBeauprez, former U.S. Congressman from the Seventh District, talks to the crowd about the history of wars and Washington leadership.

There are touching moments in the ceremony when memories of fallen soldiers are talked about.

The Broomfield Civic Chorus, under the direction of Barbara Schipper, sings patriotic songs.

USS Indianapolis survivor Paul Murphy stands, claps and sings along with Anchors Aweigh. performed by the chorus.

Members of the Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum board come out to be recognized at the end of the ceremony.

Past museum president and museum founder Vic Boccard is honored with a portrait to hang permanently in the museum.
