Location: Dalmatian Toadflax is becoming a widespread problem in rangeland areas in the west. It is acclimated to arid conditions. Waxy leaves inhibit herbicide penetration and hand-pulling only stimulates increased growth. Dalmatian Toadflax was introduced as an ornamental, like many other weeds escaped into natural areas where it out-competes native species.
