Planning Department
OUR MISSION: The Planning Department reviews development applications for compliance with Broomfield’s development standards. The intent of these reviews is to maintain and improve our citizens’ quality of life, protect the environment, and plan for the future needs of the community. Work is accomplished by highly trained employees in a professional and respectful manner.

The Panning Department includes Land Use and Master Planning, Development Review, Zoning and Subdivision Code Review, and Preparation of Population and Employment Estimates and Forecasts.
