Police Facility Tour

Patrol

Police officers start their tour of duty in the Rollcall Room, where they are briefed and updated regarding current incidents. This room is also equipped with TV/video equipment for training purposes.

Once prepared with their pursuit bags, radio packsets, flashlights, and other equipment stored in the individualized Kit Storage Room, a dedicated automatic door opener assists their departure to their assigned Patrol vehicles parked adjacent to the building.

Although Broomfield officers have been fully computerized with laptop computers in their vehicles for several years, there are times when it is necessary for them to work on reports at headquarters. An Officer Work Area has been designed to efficiently accommodate this.

On-duty Sergeants supervise each team of Patrol officers.

Commanders’ offices are located adjoining to their Division.
