Property / Evidence

A high-density storage system was installed in the property and evidence room to increase storage capacity.

Secure pass-through cabinets were installed, not only from the Patrol Evidence Processing Area to the Property Room, but also from the Property Room into the new Crime Lab. This will allow for a strict chain-of-custody of evidence to be maintained as property is processed.

A bar-coding inventory system was incorporated to allow for a quicker, more efficient property inventory system.  A Narcotics Storage Room and Evidence Drying Room was also added.
