School Resource Officers
The Broomfield Police Department is committed to providing the same quality level of police services to the school communities in Broomfield as it does the rest of the community.  To that end, we have an extensive School Resource Officer (SRO) program that consists of full-time SROs in the public high schools, and part-time SROs in the middle and elementary schools.

Officer Brian Vockel is the School Resource Officer for Legacy High School.

Officer Dana Wieland is assigned to
the  Broomfield High School and all other Boulder Valley Schools.

Officer Doug Whiles services the Adams 12  District K - 8 schools in Broomfield: Centennial, Mountain View, Coyote Ridge, and Meridian Elementary, and Westlake Middle School.

The Police Services Unit completes the service of a variety of legal papers such as eviction notices and restraining orders as well as the investigation and apprehension of fugitives from the court.  To reach the Civil Unit, please call 303-438-6480.  You may also view the Service of Process Fee Schedule and the Evictions Information Page for more details.
