Honor Guard
In July 2001, the Broomfield Police Department established its first Honor Guard.  Eight officers were chosen to participate and represent the entire Department.  Among the Honor Guard's duties are parades, color presentations, official funerals, and other ceremonial occasions.

The first event for the Honor Guard was the 2001 Broomfield Days Parade.  Today, the Honor Guard continues to participate in many special events, including the Department's annual awards banquet, special events at FlatIron Crossing, the annual Broomfield Days Parade, and other events as requested.  If you would like to request the Honor Guard to appear at your local event, please complete the Honor Guard Request Form and return it to the Broomfield Police Department.
