Broomfield Recreation Services American Red Cross Rainbow Learn-To-Swim program provides a safe, fun environment for your child to learn the fundamentals of swimming as well as learn self-confidence. We promote personal development, water safety, and the learning of a lifetime skill that can enhance your child’s life.

Lesson times are listed in the brochure. Register on-line with econnect!

When registering for consecutive sessions of the American Red Cross Rainbow Learn-To-Swim program, we recommend that you sign up for the same class level at least two times. Due to the high demand for swim lessons, we are sorry but we can not guarantee that space will be available for your child to move up or down after your initial registration. We encourage you to utilize the wait list process whenever possible.

Health and Safety Policies The health and safety of our patrons is our number one priority. In order to ensure your health and safety we ask you to observe the following policies for yourself and all family members:
Children 5 & under must be accompanied in the pool with an adult and stay within arms reach
Children 3 & under must wear a swim diaper
Do not use the pool if you show any signs of illness or diarrhea or have had diarrhea in the last two weeks
Parents are ultimately responsible for the safety and well being of their children
No head first pool entries
No prolonged underwater breath holding
Lifeguards are the final authority on rules and regulations in the pool area
Immediately report any unidentified objects in the pool. We will clear and close the pool anytime a fecal accident is discovered.

Please help us respect the privacy and comfort level of our patrons, all ages must use gender appropriate locker rooms or the family cabanas. Children 5 years and under may accompany their parents through either locker room. If you wish to bring your child ready for lessons at the Broomfield Community Center, a building supervisor will let you in through the hall door to the pool. Stop at the front desk and ask for assistance.

Semi-private lessons can be for groups of 2 to 4 participants and should be close in age and ability.
All lessons will be 30 minutes in length. All sessions include a total of 6 classes. Register for one or more of the time periods listed. We encourage you to utilize the waitlist process whenever possible.
