Court-ordered Community Service

Who may qualify for community service?

Minimum age of 18 years old.
English language fluency
Offenses which are non-threatening, non-violent, not drug-related, not theft-related, and not sex-related.

What time is available?

Tuesdays-Thursdays; 1:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Fridays; 12:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays & Sundays; 5:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

You can leave early, but you need to be here by 3:00 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and by 5:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

We only offer Community Service as long as we have duties. You may be sent home early, even if scheduled for more hours.

What are the conditions?

Community Service workers must be scheduled by Elaine Jones.

Community Service workers must call 24 hours in advance to re-schedule appointments.

Community Service workers who do not show up and do not call in advance will not be able to complete their service at the Community Center.

Community Service workers who are unable to follow directions and perform tasks adequately will not be able to complete their service at the Community Center.

How do I schedule my community service?

Only 2 Community Service workers can work at a time, so you will need to schedule days and times with Elaine Jones.

Where else can I do Community Service?

Broomfield Senior Center

You must be 16 or older

Hours are available Monday-Friday between the hours of 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

There is NO Community Service available June-August.
