Private Use of Public Facilities The City & County of Broomfield has a paramount concern for the
public safety. In order to ensure the safety of our patrons and to
minimize risks and liability, only employees of the City & County of
Broomfield are authorized to provide personal training, or any type

Fitness Safety & Rules
Though the format of all fitness classes is
structured for the safety of the participant, it is important that each
individual know their own limits. It is your responsibility to know your own
abilities and to exercise at your own pace.
Participants should monitor their own heart rates through the Perceived
Exertion Rate. (You should be able to talk
comfortably without being out of breath.) If you have questions about how to
measure your heart rate, please ask your
instructor.
Space is available on a first come basis; reservations for our spinning®
classes and Youth Cardio Games may be made
1-day in advance, and numbers for our Yoga, Pilates Matwork, BODYPUMP®, and
SilverSneakers® classes are given out at the
front desk 60-minutes prior to the class start time. Numbers will be given
out until 5 minutes after the class starts.
All fitness classes are coed and open to anyone 16 years old and over.
Youth, 12-15 years, can participate with an adult
18 and over. Children are not allowed in the fitness room for any reason
while adult fitness classes are in session.
This is too disruptive to participants and to the instructor. Child sitting
is available during most fitness classes.
