Youth Treadmill Games (Ages 10 - 14) 30 minutes of instructor lead intervals & games on the treadmill, bike and/or elliptical to add movement & fun into your day. Followed by 15 minutes of core work and stretching. Class meets on the back side of the track. Please check our schedule for current times. Reservations are taken one-day in advance at the front desk (303-460-6900).

 

Fun-n-Fitness Increase movement and have fun! Popular 45-minute class focuses on cardiovascular fitness, strength, and flexibility training through a variety of activities designed specifically for youth in a non-competitive environment. For ages 8-12.

Youth TaeKwon Do  This class is open to all students, white through black belt for students under 12 years old, and any level, white through black belt. It is specifically oriented for the younger crowd and is less strenuous. This class develops TaeKwon Do techniques in a manner and pace suitable for kids. Youth Golf Conditioning
This golf conditioning class, taught by a personal trainer, is intended for the High School golfer. Off-season is the time of year you should focus your attention on flexibility and strengthening. It’s the time to get ready to start playing golf. Your fitness program should reflect exercises that will immediately affect your game. Flexibility, stability and power are all improved by exercising for golf. The golf swing is a very complex movement, requiring much from the body. Only if the body is flexible and strengthened, can one expect consistent and powerful golf swings. No matter what your current physical condition, your golf game can benefit by regular exercise targeted with the golf swing in mind. To keep instruction personal and highly effective, class space is limited to 16 participants. Sign up today!

Jr Jazzercise
We’ll combine fun, easy-to-follow dance moves to popular music, fitness games, and light strength training. The non-competitive atmosphere is the perfect setting to introduce your child to fitness. Children are not required to have any dance experience. Each hour long class consists of a 20-minute exercise aerobics segment, a 20-minute game segment focusing on exercise and nutrition, and a 20-minute dance segment to basic choreography. Yoga for Children and Teens This class is a playful introduction to yoga. Through age appropriate games, song, partner activities and yoga poses we teach students how to listen to their bodies, how to deal with stress and how to relax. Weight Training For Youth This class is designed for boys and girls. Instruction is given on cardiovascular equipment, cable machines, and Cybex equipment. Taught by a certified Personal Trainer, each student learns their individualized settings and proper form and technique. Upon successful completion, each student is certified to use the exercise equipment at both PDRC and BCC during normal hours after paying the daily drop-in fee. For ages 11–14 years.

Flippity Fun & Fitness!
This class is designed to teach you all about having fun in the water! Every day there will be something new – diving, snorkeling, stroke clinics, water polo, water basketball, games, and fitness. The “jumpNrope” program teaches the fundamentals of jump rope focusing on building core movements in single rope, double dutch and Chinese wheel skills. Youth Sports Performance
Designed to get the young athlete faster, stronger and more explosive! No matter what sport the participant plays, this program will increase ones speed and strength during the off season. Classes lead by personal trainers who have specialized training with the young athlete. Activities will include strength training, agility ladder drills, lateral movement, flexibility training and resistance running - just to name a few! Athletes will also learn basic nutrition information on how to properly fuel their bodies for their active lifestyle.
