Show Time Once a month join us for an afternoon at the Broomfield Senior Center Movie Theatre! Enjoy a movie, friends, freshly popped popcorn, and relaxation. Movie plays on Friday afternoons from 1–3 p.m. BCC

Dancing at the Lakeshore All are welcome, whether you come to dance or just to listen, single or with a partner. Refreshments are served. First Friday, 7 - 10 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Fee: $4.50 per person, payable at the door.

Hawaiian Luau

Lakeshore Café celebrates Hawaii with a delicious array of exotic foods. Get out that Hawaiian shirt and skirts. We’ll surprise you with entertainment and have lots of fun!

A Summer Night at Mimi’s

August 20, 5:30 p.m.

Mimi’s Cafe will sponsor the 4th Annual Night at Mimi’s Fundraiser for Senior Services. There is a buffet dinner, entertainment and silent auction. Tickets are $20 and are available July 16.

David James Memorial Golf Tournament

Friday, September 19 at 7:30 a.m.

Join us for a beautiful summer morning at the Eagle Golf Club. Proceeds of the tournament benefit our Senior Programs. Don’t miss out on this exciting event for a Shotgun; a four-person scramble tournament. Contact Dana at 303-464-5530 for more information. The $90 or $320 team fee includes green fees, cart fee, practice balls, BBQ dinner, sleeve of balls, tees, divot repair tool, and a GREAT TIME.

6^th Annual Rockin’ Senior Cool Classic Car Show

Saturday, September 20

Start sprucing up your classic car and join us at Broomfield Days for this exciting event to benefit Broomfield Meals on Wheels. All cars must be on the grass lot by 8 am and exit after 4 pm. Prizes will be awarded. Cost is $25 per car pre-registration and $35 day-of-event, and includes a custom t-shirt. Registration forms available at the Community Center beginning August 1. Oktoberfest at Lakeshore

It’s autumn and time to think of celebrations, especially when they include great German food to sample. We will have a real Oktoberfest with entertainment and delicious food and drink. Register early as this is always a sell-out! Pre-registration is required.

Fall Fashion Show

This afternoon of elegance is filled with taking a look at today’s fashions for the mature adult. Come see what is in style, what wears comfortably and how to accessorize your wardrobe. You will also enjoy an elegant tea. Fashions provided by Dillard’s.

Halloween Lunch

Calling all ghosts and goblins—come join us for a spooky lunch at the Lakeshore Café! This is always a fun lunch with lots of laughs. Don’t forget we have a costume contest, so wear your wacky-best.

Harvest Your Resources

Plan on attending this free Resource Fair at the Community Center. Over 30 local businesses will showcase their services and products specifically for older adults. Santa’s Cellar Craft Fair

Don’t miss out on the Craft Fair of the Holidays. Our Annual Santa’s Cellar Craft Fair features local crafters in Colorado. Also, Santa makes an appearance in the afternoon. Thanksgiving Dinner

Come join the Thanksgiving Dinner from the Broomfield Senior Center Staff and volunteers from the community. Thanksgiving Dinner will include Turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings. Entertainment will be provided by the lovely Children’s Dance Theater. Please pre-register, space is limited.

Holiday Bridge Tournament

It’s the beginning of the holiday season and what better reason to get together with friends for a great afternoon of Bridge and a delicious catered lunch (menu to be determined). Sign up with a partner, or if you don’t have one, we’ll find you one. Don’t miss out. Prizes are awarded. Maximum 56. Deadline is November 14.
