Show Time Once a month join us for an afternoon at the Broomfield Senior Center Movie Theatre! Enjoy a movie, friends, freshly popped popcorn, and relaxation. Movie plays on Friday afternoons from 1–3 p.m. BCC

Dancing at the Lakeshore All are welcome, whether you come to dance or just to listen, single or with a partner. Refreshments are served. First Friday, 7 - 10 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Fee: $4.50 per person, payable at the door.

Harvest Your Resources

Plan on attending the 14th Annual Resource Fair for seniors at the Community Center. Over 30 local businesses will showcase their services and products specifically for older adults. Caregiver resources, educational seminars, door prizes, and more! Call

Thanksgiving Dinner
Come join the Thanksgiving Dinner from the Broomfield Senior Center Staff and volunteers from the community. Dinner will include Turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings. Entertainment will be provided by the lovely Children’s Dance Theater. Please pre-register, space is limited.

Holiday Lunch
Come celebrate the season with us! Good friends, traditional holiday food and some holly-jolly entertainment. This is one lunch during the year you don’t want to miss! Pre-registration required.

Senior Wellness Conference
Building a Healthy You
Several pieces go into making a healthy you. This year’s conference will focus on what those pieces are and how you can build them into your daily life and routine. At our conference you will be pampered with massages, venture out on a health walk, EAT, try new activities, and laugh and love a lot. Don’t forget, there are lots of opportunities to win great door prizes too! The 11th Annual Wellness Conference is brought to you by the Broomfield Senior Chronologically Gifted Committee and is held at the Broomfield Community Center. Pre-registration required (lunch included).

Spring Book & Gift Fair
Thursday, March 11, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Get your spring off to a great start with a new collection of books! But this fair isn’t just books, gifts, games, and great finds are here for you to peruse. Come in and have a look! St. Patty’s Day Lunch
Join us at the Lakeshore Café for the traditional green day celebration with corn beef and cabbage and entertainment. Pre-registration is required.

Spring Fashion Show Tea Party
This afternoon of elegance is filled with taking a look at today’s fashions. Come see what is in style, what wears comfortably and how to accessorize your wardrobe. We will be having an afternoon tea party (coffee, teas, and treats will be provided)

Spring Bridge Tournament
We’ve planned a friendly competition for all who enjoy Bridge. You’ll be fed a delicious lunch. Sign up with a partner or we’ll find one for you. Prizes are awarded. Deadline April 12.

Volunteer Recognition Luncheon
Thursday, April 22, 12 - 1 p.m.
As part of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we would like to recognize the efforts of volunteers! This is a free lunch for all current volunteers of the Broomfield Senior Center as a THANK YOU for all the work you do. Non-volunteers are welcome to attend and pay the special lunch rate.

Meals on Wheels Basket Auction
Friday, May 7
Please plan to attend the 10th Annual Meals on Wheels Basket Auction to benefit Broomfield Meals on Wheels. The silent auction and reception begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by a live auction presented by our Master of Ceremonies, Paul Derda. The Senior Services staff and Senior Resources of Broomfield would like to thank the community for their support of this worth while and fun event.
