Dancing at the Lakeshore All are welcome, whether you come to dance or just to listen, single or with a partner. Refreshments are served. First Friday, 7 - 10 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Fee: $4.50 per person, payable at the door.

Mardi Gras Lunch
Join us at the Lakeshore Café for a traditional Fat Tuesday New Orleans celebration with great, authentic Cajun style food and entertainment. Pre - registration is required.

St. Patty’s Day Lunch
Join us at the Lakeshore Café for the traditional green day celebration with corned beef and cabbage and entertainment. Pre - registration is required.

Spring Book & Gift Fair
Thursday, March 22, 2012 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Spring Fashion Show Tea Party
This afternoon of elegance is filled with taking a look at today’s fashions. Come see what is in style, what wears comfortably and how to accessorize your wardrobe. We will be having an afternoon tea party (coffee, teas, and treats will be provided)

Easter Lunch
Come to lunch in your favorite Easter Bonnet for the Bonnet contest and visit with the Easter Bunny as he hops around the room. Lunch will be baked ham or fish, you can pick at the time of signing up.

Volunteer Recognition Luncheon

As part of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we would like to recognize the efforts of volunteers! This is a free lunch for all current volunteers of the Broomfield Senior Center as a THANK YOU for all the work you do. Non-volunteers are welcome to attend and pay the special lunch rate.

Spring Bridge Tournament
We’ve planned a friendly competition for all who enjoy Bridge. You’ll be fed a delicious lunch. Sign up with a partner or we’ll find one for you. Prizes are awarded. Deadline April 13.

Focus on how great it is to be fit (healthy) physically and mentally. At our conference you will be pampered with massages, venture out on a health walk, EAT, and try new activities. Win great door prizes too! Brought to you by the Broomfield Senior Chronologically Gifted Committee and is held at the Broomfield Community Center. Pre-registration required (lunch included).

Meals on Wheels Basket Auction

Please plan to attend the 12th Annual Meals on Wheels Basket Auction to benefit Broomfield Meals on Wheels. The silent auction and reception begins at 6 p.m. followed by a live auction. The Senior Services staff and Senior Resources of Broomfield would like to thank the community for their support of this worth while and fun event. Mother’s Day Lunch
Bring your Mom, or just come and remember her, to the Lakeshore Café Mother’s Day luncheon. Lisa is preparing a special Slow Simmered Beef lunch for all. Entertainment is provided. Pre-registration is required.

Father’s Day Barbecue
It’s a BBQ for Dads, Granddads and Great-Granddads! We’ll barbecue on the patio (weather permitting) and celebrate the day!

2nd Annual Cow Plop Drop
Wednesday, July 4 from 5 - 7 p.m.
Let the (cow) chips fall where they may. This fundraiser benefits Broomfield Meals on Wheels. Claim a plot of land (for a $10 donation) where you think our cow will “plop”, and if he does, you get $500! Don’t forget your Cow Plop Drop shirt for a $10 donation as well. The fundraiser takes place at Broomfield’s Great American Picnic at the Broomfield County Commons (NE quadrant of the park). You do not need to be present to win. 10th Annual Rockin’ Seniors Cool Classic Car Show
September 15 at Broomfield Days
Come out and join in on the fun and show off that beautiful classic car that’s hiding in your garage. The show benefits Broomfield Meals on Wheels; we are asking for a $20 donation to enter your cool classic vehicle. Your donation includes an original show t-shirt.
