Outdoor Winter Sports! Interested in learning to downhill ski or snowboard? Or getting out on the trails on snowshoes. These sports are all Special Olympics Winter Sports with competitions at Eldora and Copper Mountain. We are looking for interest, if you are interested in competing contact Rachel at 303-460-6924 for more information.

Bowling—Special Olympics
Come join the fun as we train for Special Olympics and socialize! We’ll learn the basic techniques of bowling. All abilities are welcome; ramps are available upon request. An optional regional competition is in October. You must be 8 years to compete at the Special Olympics.
Age: 6 years and over. Location: Broomfield

Upcoming Sports

Basketball Join us for another fun filled season of basketball. We will continue to focus on training, good sportsmanship, and teamwork. Don’t miss out! This is for the athlete with at least a basic understanding of the sport. It is league play in Boulder every Tuesday night, game time varies. Location: East BOULDER Community Center. Soccer Join us on the field and learn the basic fundamentals of soccer. This is a great way to get in shape for summer. We scrimmage surrounding area teams along with the option of competing in the Special Olympics Regional tournament. For ages 8 years and over. Location: Highland Park

Swim Teams Participants are given encouragement to improve upon their technique, speed, and swim strokes. This is in preparation of optional Special Olympic competition. For ages 8 years and over. Location: BCC

Track and Field On your marks get-set-go! Train with us for Special Olympics and have a great time while working out. Improve your physical fitness and meet new friends. All ability levels welcome. For ages 8 years and over. Location: Broomfield High School Track

Softball League This if for the softball enthusiasts! We participate in the Boulder unified softball league on Tuesday nights starting in early May. Transportation is on your own. We will head to the Broomfield batting cages April 29, 6 - 7 p.m. Game times vary, league schedules will be available at the batting cage practice on the April 29. Come join the fun!  For ages 15 years and over. Location: Boulder Mapleton Softball fields

Bocceball - Special Olympics Join us for a relaxing afternoon. We will learn the technique of “lawn bowling”. Come to socialize and train for Special Olympics competition. Come early and take Dance class with us!. For ages 8 years & over.

Golf - Special Olympics Join us as we learn the basic fundamentals of golf. We head to the driving range, putting green, and onto the game of golf. Please note that later in the season practice will be longer due to attempting nine holes. Competition is optional. For ages 15 years & over. Location: Omni Hotel.
