The indoor climbing wall is an exciting and fun way to challenge your mental and physical strength. It's a Free standing
pinnacle with a 12 foot arch. Custom built by the Eldorado Wall Company
this state-of-the-art 35 foot wall with a 30 foot rappel ledge offers 3300
square feet of climbing surface. The combination of 2700 square feet of
Dude-Tex and 600 square feet of Real Rock surface provides a diverse
climbing experience.
The climbing wall will be closed May 5 - 7.
There are a few areas of the climbing wall that need to be retextured. We need
to complete this project now to prevent any further damage. Sorry for any
inconvenience.
A few Notes and Reminders about the climbing wall:
Everyone must have a
completed
waiver and release
on file (available on-line or at the front desk).
We provide all equipment
needed at no cost. You must have a
Recreation
Services I.D. Card
in order to check out any equipment. The card is free if you are a resident of
Broomfield County. There is a $5 fee for non residents for an equipment card.
All climbers 14 and under
must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
To
take our belay certification test, you need to be 15 or older and have the
necessary climbing experience to pass the test (knots, belay technique, etc).
You may take the test during any wall open time on the schedule.
To take our lead certification test you must
be 18 or older. You will be required to demonstrate that you can climb a 5.9
without sitting or falling. We also require that you test with a partner or a
climber who is already lead certified. You will be tested on both lead
climbing ability and lead belay.
During open wall groups exceeding 6 climbers may be
divided into smaller groups, ensuring fair climbing opportunities for
all. If multiple groups arrive your group may be asked
to enjoy another activity in the facility and return at a later time.
We will do our best to see that everyone has
an opportunity to climb.
Group Rentals
The wall is available for your
group to rent. Whether it is for a Scout, school or church group or if you are
interested in doing a corporate team building event we will do our best to cater
