Playful Dramatics: Tales of Three
Come explore drama through theatre exercises, storytelling, and
playmaking. Young imaginations will grow as students play - act a
variety of tales including The Three Bears, The Three Pigs, and The
Billy Goats Gruff . Story telling will be explored through improvisation
using costumes, props, movement, and music. There will be a parent
sharing on the last day of class.

Make Them Laugh: Clowning
In this class, students will create, explore and perform their very own
clown. From the moment they first put on their nose, students will be
transported into the timeless world of silent comedy. This class
integrates mime, clowning, and performance techniques that will
guarantee a fun time for all. There will be a parent sharing on the last
day of class.

Creative Play
Parents and toddlers will love to explore drama together in this
creative play-based class. The class will assist with developing your
toddler’s oral language, listening skills, motor skills, coordination,

Improvisational Acting
Creating a character comes from exploring various ways to portray body
movement, voices, emotions, and sense memory. Improvising these things
is the key for every actor to become a living, believable character.
Students will work on developing fundamental acting skills through a
variety of acting exercises and individual and group scene work. There
will be a parent sharing on the last day of class.

Stage Make-Up
Students will learn the basics of applying stage makeup. They will be
introduced to technique for old age, animal, and fantasy makeup. Each
student will be provided a kit to keep after the workshop ends. There

Audition Technique
This class will prepare students for auditioning for all types of
theatre productions including BackStory’s Performance Workshops,
BackStory Youth Theatre, school productions, and community and
professional theatre. Students will learn the basics for having a solid
theatre audition: effective monologue selection, preparation,
presentation, resumes, and cold-readings. There will be a parent sharing
on the last day of class.

Make Believe and Beyond Classes

to perform for family and friends. These beginning theatre classes will
help to build strong and confident performers. They are sure to be full

is required. Costumes will be provided. The final day of each class
(Rehearsal) will be held at the Broomfield Auditorium with a performance

Youth TaeKwon Do
This class is open to all students, white through black belt for students under
12 years old, and any level, white through black belt. It is specifically
oriented for the younger crowd and is less strenuous. This class develops
TaeKwon Do techniques in a manner and pace suitable for kids. For additional

Jump
Bunch Jump Bunch introduces sports and
fitness to your child in a hands-on setting. The program utilizes a different
sport or activity each class. Jump Bunch builds coordination and interest in
sports in a safe, non competitive environment. It also fosters a positive
attitude so that children are eager to try new activities. Jump Bunch offers a
great opportunity to instill a life-long interest in fitness and exercise. For

Fun-gineering (Age: 4 - 6 years)
Explore simple machines using larger LEGO Duplo pieces, which are easier
to manipulate for small hands. Projects include: Seesaw, Stamper (with
multiple complex levers), Car & Launcher, Cab & Trailer, Crane and Fan
(using a belt drive system). Concepts include learning about levers
(fulcrum, load, effort), wheels and axles (transporting heavy loads with
less effort), pulleys (reducing friction; adding speed and strength) and
gears (what, why and how).

Young Rembrandts Preschool Drawing Class
Satisfy your child’s artistic hunger with our colorful picnic drawing,
