Classes are held at the: BROOMFIELD MUNICIPAL CENTER, One DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, CO 80020
(From 120^th Ave & Lamar St. ( Which is 12 blocks West of Sheridan Blvd), Go North on Lamar St. for 3 blocks to the Muni Center)

(Upon arrival, check-in with the Community Assistance Center, main lobby, for directions to training room)

FEBRUARY 2008

Wednesday , February 13, 2008 9:00 am to 11:00 am
(Municipal Building--Zang Spur and Bal Swan)

Classes will include: Building Permit Process, calculation of Use Tax deposits, how to exempt City and County Use Tax when purchasing materials, reporting of costs on completed projects, documentation needed for audits, and registration of “exempt” construction projects. Included will be a review of the new permit review program which started in 2006.

Classes will include information on: Conversion to Broomfield self-collected City Sales Taxes and FlatIrons Improvement District sales taxes, sales tax procedures and requirements, identification of taxable property, documentation procedures, filing requirements, record-keeping, and an introduction to Personal Property Taxes.
