Senior Services...?
WINNER! of the
2006 Outstanding New Service Award!!!
Yes, that's right!
Broomfield Senior Services has won this very special award for the Broomfield
Senior Art Cart. This award was presented to Broomfield Senior
Services at the CASC (Colorado Association of Senior Centers) Conference held in
Littleton on July 28, 2006. The Colorado Association of Senior Centers, a
division of the Colorado Parks and Recreation Association, presents awards
annually to recognize organizations, individuals, and volunteers who help older
adults live a longer, better quality of life.

displayed on the Art Cart:

Suzanne Bazinet,
Senior Services Supervisor, worked with volunteers to make this new cultural
service in Broomfield a reality. Funded by Senior Resources of Broomfield,
Inc., and built by the Senior Woodshop volunteers, the Art Cart has
helped over 24 local senior artists display and sell their handcrafted works of
art.
This is Broomfield
Senior Services 2nd (consecutive) time winning this award. The award won
in 2005 was for the Transportation Education Program.
