Field Services Administration -
The Administrative Support Team
at Field Services is the central point of contact for any Facilties, Fleet, Park, Street, or Utility operation
issue
that may concern the citizens or businesses of Broomfield. The front office staff
responds to phone calls, handles utility locate requests, processes work orders
from customer service calls, and stays cheerful all the while! Citizen concerns
will be directed to
the proper departmental personnel to ensure the situation is
managed in an efficient, respectful, and
courteous manner.
In special circumstances, such as severe weather, the
Team
becomes emergency operation personnel. They are first to respond to
incoming phone calls, most often from concerned citizens who need emergency
access in or out of their homes or have concerns about snow removal.
Even when an emergency situation causes the city offices
to close, this office remains open. On occasion,
cots serve as makeshift beds and crock pots are filled in order to keep
the snow-clearing crews well-rested and fed.
In spring and summer, the front office gears up for the
70-plus seasonal personnel hired to help in Park Services.
