Water and sewer service charges are due 15 daysfollowing the
billing date. If the charges are unpaid 30 days after the billing date,
the account is considered delinquent and a late notice, with an associated
fee of $5.00 is mailed to the customer.
The late notice allows the customer an additional 10
days to pay their bill.
If the bill is still unpaid after that time period,
a courtesy tag is hung on the door at the property ; which
then allows an additional 2 days to pay.
If charges are still unpaid the service is
disconnected and the past due amount, plus a $25.00 reconnection fee,
must be paid before service is restored.
RETURNED CHECK or DRAFT CHARGE
A$20.00 CHARGE is assessed for check or drafts that have
been dishonored by the bank, savings and loan institution or credit union on
which it is drawn.
Penalty shall be charged against the account for which the check or
draft was written, which charge shall be collected in the same manner as
water and sewer service charges.
