AARP Driver Safety Program

Teaches you how to strategize to remain safe and become eligible for reduced automobile insurance premiums. Rates for 2014 are $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-AARP members.

Alzheimer's Association Workshops

Your memory often changes as you grow older. Memory loss that disrupts daily life is not a typical part of aging. It may be a symptom of dementia. Please join Senior Services for this extensive education series from the Alzheimer's Association. No charge and pre-registration is required. All workshops are held at the Broomfield Community Center; please call Broomfield Senior Services at 303-464-5526 to sign up or for more information. Light refreshments will be provided.

Willmaker Legal Seminar

A wonderful way to get a tough job finished! In a single easy and enjoyable session, you’ll complete a will, financial power of attorney, and combined medical directive (including living will, medical power of attorney, and organ donation), all with the help of licensed Colorado attorney Rebecca L. Bennetti, and her staff. Cost includes all materials, witnessing, notarizing, individual review, and plenty of time for discussion and questions. Participants do not need to bring anything to class. Pre-registration is required. Cost is per person.

Adult Pottery

You will learn the art of throwing a flower vase, mug, bowl or whatever you wish to create. All skill levels are welcome!  A bag of clay, glaze and firing are included in the cost.- There will be studio time provided on Wednesdays from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM (drop In fee $5.00)

A monthly hearing clinic at the Broomfield Community Center, offered by Family Hearing Centers, provides complimentary services such as: hearing screenings, earwax removal and hearing aid maintenance & repair. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. - noon by calling 303.464.5526.
