Members


There are seven at-large, City Council-appointed Broomfield residents with four-year overlapping terms, and one alternate member. Vacancies are advertised and followed by City Council interviews. Terms start in April.

Purpose


The purpose of the committee is to:
  • Advise the Council and oversee cemetery operations;
  • Study and recommend to Council a long-range plan for a full-scale cemetery for the city;
  • Recommend amendments to cemetery rules and regulations;
  • Recommend adjustments in cost of interment sites, and
  • Provide advice on cemetery-related matters.

Applications to become a committee member are accepted in January of each year.
