Clown Contest

Kids ages 1-9: Dress up as a clown (or your favorite character) for Broomfield Days! 

The Westminster-Broomfield Optimist Club continues the 42-year tradition of holding a Kid’s Clown Contest on Saturday, September 23 during Broomfield Days. The Contest honors Marlene Politzer of Bal Swan Children’s Center. Contestants take the main stage in the park for an opportunity to sing, dance and tell something about themselves. 

Divisions

  • 1-3 year olds 
  • 4-6 year olds 
  • 7-9 year olds 

The top two winners in each age group get a new bicycle! Every entrant gets a stuffed animal. So, get your clown on for Broomfield Days! Sign up begins at 7:30 a.m. by the main stage. The contest goes from 8-9 a.m.
