If you are a middle or high school student, the library wants YOU to join the Teen Advisory Board! TAB works with library staff to plan and run fun teen events and recommends books, music, and movies for the library to purchase. Each October, TAB puts on a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater event that is the hit of the season!
When Does TAB Meet? Monthly on the 1st & 3rd Mondays from 4 - 5 p.m. in the Eisenhower Room (2nd floor).
Who Can Apply? Colorado residents in grades 6-12.
How Do I Apply? TAB is not accepting new members at this time, but you can apply to be added to a wait list.
If you like to shelve books, organize and sort items, and perform all sorts of miscellaneous tasks, the library welcomes you to apply for a Teen Zone Volunteer position! PLEASE NOTE: If you have court-mandated community service to fulfill, please contact Katherine Skeels at 720.887.2367 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who Can Apply? Broomfield residents/Broomfield school attendees in grades 8-12.
How Do I Apply? The Teen Zone is not accepting new applicants at this time. Applications will reopen fall 2019.
If you are an adult interested in helping middle and high school students succeed, the library welcomes you to apply for a Boost Your Brain Math or Science tutor position.
When Does Tutoring Take Place? Tuesdays from 4:30 - 6:45 p.m. in the Eisenhower Room (2nd floor) throughout the school year (September-May).
Who Can Apply? Colorado residents ages 18+ with backgrounds in math or science.
How Do I Apply? Please take a look at the job description and requirements, then fill out a City and County Volunteer Disclosure Form. Bring this form to the library along with your resume and photo ID. Background checks and interviews will be conducted before placement.
