All programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required unless otherwise posted.

Online registration begins May 14 and you may pick up your official reading record at the library starting on June 1st. Or register in person at the library starting June 1. You may only count what you read between June 1-July 29.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., movies start at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. NO food or drinks allowed.

iStock_000066372855_Large_Star Wars Figures Star Wars Live Action- Saturday, June 3 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  
Open to teens in grades 6-12. Join your favorite Star Wars characters and train to become a Jedi or Sith...choose wisely, young Padawans! Meets outside at the Amphitheater north of the library.

Discovery Lab: Build a Better Book STEM Workshop (session 1)- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:00-4:00 p.m. 
Open to ages 9-16. The University of Colorado-Boulder's Build a Better Book project will teach you how to design and create picture books that tell stories you can see, hear, touch, and feel. In this multi-class workshop, you will learn how to use Maker technologies such as casts & molds, 3D printers, Tinkercad, and Makey Makeys to create interactive books and items for your library that all children can enjoy! Meets in the Science Center on the first floor.

MUST attend ALL classes: June 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, & 29.

Open to ages 15+.  Prepare for summer scrapes and bumps with first aid kit basics in a conveniently portable Altoids tin!. Meets in the Science Center.

GettyImages_496349555_Large_Bird and Birdhouse Date with Dad: Make a Birdhouse- Saturday, June 17 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
(sign up for ONE HOUR session)
Open to teens in grades 6-12 and one adult. Bring your dad or favorite adult and build a birdhouse to liven up your yard or garden. Meets outside at the patio south of the library/auditorium.

Pizza  Pizza & Prose: Melanie Crowder- Saturday, June 17 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Open to teens in grades 6-12. Learn how to write poetry that can make a positive change in the world. Write with the author and eat pizza, too! Meets in the Eisenhower Room.

Quidditch- Wednesday, July 26 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Open to teens in grades 6-12. Join us for a rousing game of Quidditch! Come dressed for outdoors and BYOB (Bring Your Own Broom). Meets at the Community Park Shelter, west of the library.
