Swim Lessons

Broomfield Recreation Learn-To-Swim Program

Broomfield Recreation Services American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program provides a safe, fun environment for your child to learn the fundamentals of swimming as well as learn self-confidence. We promote personal development, water safety, and the learning of a lifetime skill that can enhance your child’s life. For additional information contact Stephanie, Dawn, or Andy at the above contacts.

How many classes should I sign up for?

When registering for consecutive sessions of the American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program, we recommend that you sign up for the same class level at least two times. Due to the high demand for swim lessons, we are sorry but cannot guarantee that space will be available for your child to move up or down after your initial registration. We encourage you to talk to the instructor about your child’s progress and utilize the waitlist process whenever possible if classes are full. We will increase classes due to demand and instructor/space availability.

Lesson Testing

Don’t know which level to sign your child up for? A swim instructor can test your child to determine his/her skill level. Lesson testing can be performed during open swim or limited open swim times at either facility. Please stop in and ask for a pool manager. For more information and pool schedules, please contact Stephanie at 303-464-5540.
