Philosophy of Local Government
Government is to serve the people. That necessitates that the citizens are listened to and heard and their views understood. Then the work to fulfill their desire without infringing on other citizens can be undertaken. It is clearly a challenge to successfully balance these desires and views to reach a successful compromise, achieving the overall good of the community. I believe that we must maintain the high quality of life we have achieved in Broomfield.
